Executive Secretary/ Treasurer – David A. Ralston
David A. Ralston is Professor and the Michael F. Price Chair of International Business at the University of Oklahoma. He has served as Guest Editor for a Journal of International Business Studies Symposium in 2000, and will be Guest Editor for a forthcoming issue of the Academy of Management Review. Currently he serves on the editorial boards for the Journal of International Business Studies, the Asia Pacific Journal of Management, and the Journal of World Business. He has been a visiting professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong on two occasions, as well as at the University of Auckland. His research has investigated the cross-cultural aspect of management, with much of it focusing on China.
Representative at Large (Europe) – Verner Worm
Verner Worm (Ph.D, Copenhagen Business School) is a Associate Professor of International Business with special reference to East Asia at Copenhagen Business School and Research Director of Asia Research Center at Copenhagen Business School. He is the author of two books about business or management in China, and has published extensively in international management journals. His interest in IACMR is to help advance research on various aspects Chinese management of the firm, especially theory development for Chinese management system, and to help stimulate collaborative research, especially on aspects of international management and international business.
Representative at Large (Asia Pacific) – Dean Tjosvold
Prof. Tjosvold is Chair Professor of Management at Lingnan University, Hong Kong, and Director of the Cooperative Learning Center. Simon Fraser University awarded him a University Professorship for his research contributions. He has published over 200 articles and fifteen books on cooperation and competition, managing conflict, leadership and power. He is past president of the International Association of Conflict Management and has served on several editorial boards, including the Academy of Management Review and Journal of Organizational Behavior. He is a partner in his family health care business in Minnesota.
Representative at Large (the Chinese Mainland) – Katherine R Xin
A distinguished academic, Professor Katherine Xin, a native of the Chinese mainland, has extensive teaching, research and consulting experience in universities and multinational companies around the world. Katherine Xin is Professor of Management and Michelin Chair in Leadership and Human Resource Management at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Shanghai, China. She is on the faculty at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Katherine holds her Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine. She previously has been on the faculty of the University of Southern California, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and National University of Ireland, Dublin. Professor Xin conducts research in the areas of leadership, international joint venture management, and strategic human resource management. She is a frequent contributor to academic and executive conferences and journals. Her research work has appeared in the leading international management journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of World Business, Leadership Quarterly, Harvard Business Review and other publications. She serves as a reviewer for many academic journals and conferences. She is currently the editor-in-chief of the journal Harvard Business Review (China). In addition to her research and teaching, she is a consultant and workshop leader, and has undertaken assignments from many multinational firms.
