I will begin by discussing various issues that have led to a crisis of credibility within the management and psychology disciplines and from the general public questioning the scientific rigor of these disciplines. I will then propose some ways that researchers can address this challenge through increased transparency and rigor, with an emphasis on the role of replication and reproducibility studies. A discussion of the different types of replication and reproducibility studies, along with published exemplar studies, will be provided.
