In Memoriam: Professor Kenneth S. Law – A Tribute to His Legacy and Contributions
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Professor Kenneth S. Law of The Chinese University Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. His loss is a profound one for IACMR and the broader academic community.
Professor Law was an exceptional scholar, a dedicated mentor, and a cherished colleague. His lasting contributions to IACMR and Chinese management research have left an indelible mark. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
We thank Professor Law for his contribution toward IACMR. He contributed to one of the IACMR Books “Empirical Methods in Organization and Management Research”, where his rigorous academic approach enriched the field. He was also instrumental in the IACMR Dissertation Proposal Development Workshop, where his teaching and mentorship inspired many PhD students. As a senior editor for Management and Organization Review, he upheld high academic standards, ensuring the journal’s continued quality.
As a member of IACMR, Professor Law embodied the core values of IACMR: the Pursuit of Excellence, Source of Inspiration, Responsible Scholarship, and Spirit of Service. His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to academia will forever be remembered.
