Call for Applications|2026 IACMR Research Methods Workshop
June 28 – July 2, 2026
Shanghai, China
Dear IACMR Members,
We are delighted to invite you to apply for the IACMR Research Methods Workshop, which will take place from June 28 to July 2, 2026, at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai, China. This workshop is designed to introduce the major research methods involved in designing a high-quality research project, provide guidance on developing research projects that will make a meaningful contribution to knowledge and practice, and facilitate networking with world-class management scholars. Over the 4.5 days program, a series of lectures and intensive discussion sessions will be held to help refine your research proposals. The ultimate goal of the workshop is to foster research projects that address significant management issues and are publishable in international (English) academic journals. The workshop will be conducted in both English and Chinese, with Chinese being the primary language. Previous workshops have been highly successful, and you can click here to view the participants’ feedbacks of the 2024, 2022 and 2019.
In addition to lectures, participants will be grouped according to their research interests. Faculty advisors will lead in-depth discussions of research proposals, providing valuable feedback and fostering an environment where participants can learn from each other and enhance their research projects. This workshop is an excellent opportunity to build relationships with renowned management scholars and peers in the field.
Requirements for Participants:
