Latest IACMR News

  1. Updates on the Preparation for the 2027 IACMR Conference
    Preparations for the 2027 IACMR Biennial Conference are steadily progressing. The conference will be hosted by the HKUST Business School in Hong Kong SAR, China, from June 2–6, 2027. Under the theme “Advancing Chinese Management Research in the Age of AI,” the conference will explore how AI-driven transformations are reshaping management research and organizational practices in Chinese and global contexts. In addition to submitting your own paper(s) to the conference, we invite you to serve as a reviewer as well. You may be asked to review up to four papers from each track between November 1 and December 20 of 2026, depending on the total number of submissions. Please click here (in English) or here (in Chinese) for guidelines on conducting high-quality paper reviews.
  2. IACMR–AoM Collaborative Program: Applications Open for AoM Philadelphia Annual Meeting Registration and Membership Fee Waivers
    To support more IACMR members in attending, observing, and engaging in academic exchange at the AoM Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, IACMR is pleased to offer two levels of registration support through the IACMR–AoM collaborative program. A total of 1,000 eligible IACMR members will receive a one-year AoM membership fee waiver together with a 25% discount on the 2026 AoM Annual Meeting registration fee. In addition, 100 eligible members will receive a one-year AoM membership fee waiver together with a 50% discount on the conference registration fee.
  3. The 11th Session of the IACMR Teaching and Learning Forum
    The 11th session of the the IACMR Teaching and Learning Forum was held online via Zoom on April 28, 2026, from 9:00–10:30 AM Beijing Time. Professor Ning Li from Tsinghua University delivered a lecture titled Personalized Teaching in the AI Era: From Content Generation to the Reconstruction of Learning Experience. The session attracted nearly 300 young faculty members and instructors online. The forum was moderated by Song Wang from Zhejiang University. Please click here to watch the replay.
  4. Call for Nominations | The 2nd (2026) IACMR–PUP Outstanding Book Award in “Chinese Thought in Management”
    The award is presented biennially, and the award ceremony will take place during the 2027 IACMR Biennial Conference in Hong Kong SAR, China, from June 2–6, 2027. Each winning book will receive a cash prize of RMB 10,000. Please click here for more details.
  5. IACMR Research Seminar Series #59 and #60
    Session #59 of the IACMR Research Seminar Series was held via Zoom on March 25, 2026, from 9:00–10:30 AM Beijing Time. The seminar, conducted in English, was titled “Addressing the Precision–Generality–Parsimony Tradeoff in Psychology and Management Research: A Comprehensive Exploration Approach.” The session featured Professor Liqiang Huang from The Chinese University of Hong Kong as the speaker and was moderated by Yanjun Guan from Nottingham University Business School China.     Session #60 of the IACMR Research Seminar Series will be held via Zoom on May 27, 2026, from 3:00–4:30 PM Beijing Time. The seminar, conducted in English, will feature Professor Dovev Lavie from Bocconi University, who will present on the topic “Should I Pay or Should I Go? A Prosocial Market Platform for Reducing Economic Inequality.” The session will be moderated by Pengfei Wang from BI Norwegian Business School. Please click here to register.
