Call for Papers: The Sixth MOR Paper Development Workshop

January 7-8, 2027

College of Management, National Taiwan University

Taipei, Taiwan, China

Submission Deadline: October 10, 2026

To promote the mission of Management and Organization Review (MOR) in becoming “the premier journal for ground-breaking insights about management and organizations in China and global comparative contexts” and to inspire scholars to develop indigenous management theories by exploring important and interesting phenomena and research questions within the Chinese context, International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR), Taiwan Academy of Management (TAOM), and MOR are jointly organizing the 6th Paper Development Workshop (PDW) on January 7-8, 2027, at the College of Management, National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan, China.

The 2-day PDW consists of a half-day company visit and 1.5-day academic activities, including research seminars by MOR editors, and one-on-one deep discussion sessions of accepted papers. We encourage all IACMR members, especially Ph.D. students and junior faculty, to participate, because the authors will receive guidance and feedback directly from the MOR editorial team.

To ensure that all accepted submissions receive detailed feedback, the PDW plans to accept around 20 full papers and/or detailed research proposals, depending on the quality of submissions. We strongly encourage the authors to submit their full papers or detailed research proposals to MOR for publication consideration after the PDW. MOR will offer a fast-track review process for these submissions and publish these papers promptly once they meet MOR publishing standards.
