Notes and Instructions

The conference will offer up to 75 grants to graduate students to partially cover hotel charge and travel cost to attend the 2012 Conference of the International Association for Chinese Management Research in Hong Kong.

Grant amount
We will give HKD2500 for each grant regardless of overseas students or mainland students. Please be reminded that the grant may be offered in HK$ cash cheques due to local law in Hong Kong, the cheque can be exchanged at any cash point locally. Eligible students will receive the grants on site at the conference with proof of passport ID.

Room sharing for awardees
We strongly encourage students to share a room with one another, as this will not only save cost but also foster networking among students. Interests in room-sharing could be indicated in your hotel reservation form for “Poly Student Halls of Residence”.

Award Criteria
Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis, and priority will be given to those who present paper or otherwise actively involved in the conference, and those who hold IACMR membership (which can be obtained once you register and pay the conference fee). While registration for the Conference is not a pre-requisite to apply, only paid registrants are eligible to receive the grant once awarded.

All grant application forms should be received before February 29, 2012 and the awards will be announced by April 16, 2012.
