1. One-Month Extension of Application for Kwok Leung Memorial Dissertation Fund Grant
In view of influences and difficulties brought by COVID-19 disruptions this year, we extended the deadline for the application to Kwok Leung Memorial Dissertation Fund Grant to June 15, 2020 to give interested doctoral students sufficient time to complete their proposals. The date of winner announcement will also be pushed back by one month.
2. Call for Applications: 2020 IACMR “The Scholarship and Methods of Teaching” Workshop
2020 IACMR “The Scholarship and Methods of Teaching” Workshop will be held in Dalian, China. The host school is Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. The deadline for application to participate in the program is July 10, 2020. Applications should be sent to IACMR Office (iacmrbj@pku.edu.cn). Acceptance notice will be sent by July 31, 2020. 3. IACMR Education Committee Set Up

4. IACMR Research Seminar Series Launched
IACMR launched Research Seminar Series in June 2020, the series is a monthly, online-based seminar series for scholars around the world. Through this platform, we hope to provide IACMR members with greater access to high quality management research, especially during these times of restricted travel. The first session Positivism vs. Interpretivism: Comparison of Two Classic Case Research Paradigms and Their Inspirations was successfully held on June 24, with more than 470 scholars participated. The speaker was Professor Runtian Jing from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The second session will be held on July 22 by Professor Xiao-Ping Chen from University of Washington, the title of her speech will be Moral Consistency or Moral Licensing? The Conceptualization of Moral Elasticity Quotient and a Preliminary Test.
5. IACMR Young Scholar Development Series Launched
IACMR Young Scholar Development Series is a monthly, online-based seminar series, with the purpose of providing IACMR members especially young scholars a place to seek advices in career development (both in research and teaching). Topics include but not limited to:
• key issues about publishing papers in international journals;
• publishing papers in Chinese journals
• applying for funds with NSFC (National Natural Science Foundation of China)
• teaching experience sharing
• training on paper reviewing
• improving presentation skills

6. IACMR Membership Extended One Year
Due to the global outbreak of the COVID-19, the 9th IACMR Biennial Conference has been postponed by one year, from June 2020 to June 2021. In view of this, we have decided to extend a year of membership for free for those whose membership expired between December 2019 and June 2020 (the original registration period of the 9th Biennial Conference).You can check your membership status on your IACMR profile. 7. Online Celebration for Zhijun Yao’s Retirement
Zhijun Yao, the Executive Director who served IACMR for eight years, retired in June 2020. IACMR held an online celebration party on June 17. IACMR board members, past Presidents and staffs at Beijing office attended the online party. Participants sincerely expressed their best wishes to Ms Yao and thanked her for her great contribution to IACMR in the past eight years.

The second preliminary proposal submission deadline for MOR special issue on ‘Responsible Leadership in China and Beyond’ is July 1, 2020, followed with the proposal development workshop to fine-tune your research design.
Those who wish to have their proposal reviewed and discussed should submit a preliminary proposal (Five pages, excluding references, tables, and figures) to the MOR Managing Editor (MORManagingeditor@cambridge.org) with the subject line ‘Responsible Leadership in China Proposal‘ by July 1, 2020.
