We are pleased to announce this exciting workshop.  The purpose of this workshop is to help potential authors to receive some help with refining the research idea for submission to this AMJ Special Research Forum. The Call for Submissions for this Special Research Forum is attached.  The Workshop will be led by Professors Harry Barkema, Melissa Graebner, Michael Hitt, Jeffrey Reuer, Jason Shaw, Anne Tsui, and David Waldman.

Interested participants should complete the attached application form including an Abstract of your research idea of no more than one page, single-spaced, your name, university affiliation, contact details, IACMR membership status (active/paid, inactive, or non-member), and a statement of commitment to participate when accepted. Priority will be given to IACMR active (paid) members.

Deadline for submission of application is September 15, 2011 with decision of acceptance by October 1, 2011. The exact location of the workshop will be informed when participant is accepted. Please send application to iacmrmembership@pku.edu.cn.
