Call for Submissions| International Conference and Paper Development Workshop on”Research Paradigms in Management Science in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”
Artificial intelligence (AI) is penetrating every sector of the economy and society with unprecedented depth and breadth, fundamentally reshaping research paradigms in management science—from the logical foundations of theory building, to empirical methodologies, and to the organizational forms of knowledge production and dissemination. All these dimensions face both opportunities and challenges of systemic transformation. Against this backdrop, we cordially invite you to participate in the International Conference and Paper Development Workshop on “Research Paradigms in Management Science in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” This conference is jointly organized by the International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR), the Academy of Management (AoM), and Hunan University, and hosted by the Business School of Hunan University. It will be held from October 23 to 25, 2026, in Changsha, Hunan, China.
The conference aims to provide a high-level academic exchange platform for management scholars worldwide to discuss paradigm shifts, theoretical innovations, and methodological breakthroughs in management research in the AI era. A dedicated Paper Development Workshop (PDW) is featured, with senior editors and scholars from leading journals of AoM and IACMR—including the Academy of Management Journal (AMJ), Academy of Management Review (AMR), Academy of Management Perspectives (AMP), and Management and Organization Review (MOR)—offering one‑on‑one developmental feedback to selected papers. We particularly welcome early‑stage research proposals with high potential, which will be polished through multi‑perspective inputs from editors representing different journals.
