Bradley Kirkman

Professor of Management and Department Head, Graduate Faculty

Bradley L. Kirkman is a Professor and Department Head for the Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Department in the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University. He received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

His research focuses on virtual teams, work team effectiveness, leadership, and international management. His articles have appeared in such journals as the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy of Management Review, the Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Group & Organization Management, Journal of Cross Cultural Psychology, Organizational Dynamics, and others. His book chapters have appeared in: Oxford Handbook of Industrial and Organizational Psychology; Cambridge Handbook of Culture, Organizations, and Work; Advances in International Management; and Handbook of Global Management: A Guide to Managing Complexity. Click here formore details.

Anne Tsui

Anne S. Tsui is Motorola Professor of International Management at the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, and Distinguished Visiting or Honorary Professor at the Peking University, Xi’an Jiao Tong University, Fudan University and Nanjing University, all in China. Prior to ASU, she was on the faculty of Duke University, the University of California, Irvine, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology where she was the Founding Chair of the Department of Management. She was the 14th Editor of the Academy of Management Journal, and a Fellow of the Academy of Management. Her publications have won the Administrative Science Quarterly Scholarly Contribution Award, the Best Paper in the Academy of Management Journal Award, the Outstanding Publication in Organizational Behavior Award from the Organizational Behavior Division, and the Scholarly Achievement Award from the Human Resource Division of the Academy of Management. Her book Demographic Differences in Organizations: Current Research and Future Direction (1999), co-authored with Barbara Gutek, was one of the three finalists for the 2000 Terry Book Award, Academy of Management. She was the recipient the Center for Creative Leadership’s 2008 Walter F. Ulmer, Jr. Applied Research Leadership Award and recognized as the “Best Professor in Management” by CMO Asia in 2010. In addition to founding IACMR, she also is the founding editor and current editor-in-chief of Management and Organization Review, an official journal of IACMR.
