2. 2025 IACMR Distinguished Scholarly Contribution Award Winner
We are delighted to announce that Professor Michael Morris from Columbia University has been selected as the winner of 2025 IACMR Distinguished Scholarly Contribution Award. 7. IACMR Young Scholars Development Seminar Series, Session 22
The 22nd session of the IACMR Young Scholars Development Seminar Series was held on December 27, 2024 (Friday) from 9:00 to 10:15 AM (Beijing Time) via Zoom. The speaker was Professor Hong Deng from University of Nottingham Ningbo China and the topic of her speech was Beyond the Surface: Understanding the True Meaning of Mediators and Moderators in OBHR Research, Professor Fuli Li from Xi’an Jiaotong University hosted this session. Please note that there will be no recording for this session.

8. IACMR Research Seminar Series Session 53
Session 53 of the IACMR Research Seminar Series was held on November 20, 2024, via Zoom. Professor Maria Kraimer from University at Buffalo gave us a speech on the theme of The Role of Replication Studies in Addressing the Credibility Crisis in Scientific Research. Professor Jie (Jasmine) Feng from Rutgers University hosted this session.

1. In Memoriam: Professor Kenneth Law
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Professor Kenneth Law, from the School of Business at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Professor Law made significant contributions to IACMR and the academic community at large. He was not only an outstanding scholar but also a passionate mentor and colleague. 2. Exploring the Business Environment in China’s Provinces and Cities
The 2024 Nobel Prize in Economics recognized the contributions of three scholars to the study of how institutions form and impact prosperity. The China Provincial and City Business Environment Database 2024, co-authored by Professors Zhi-Xue Zhang and Sanbao Zhang, provides crucial data for scholars to explore the effects of institutions on economic development. This resource is expected to support research on institutional effects in China’s unique context. Click [here] for more details.
