What is a Happy Hour?

Happy Hour originated in the United States as a marketing term where bars and restaurants offer discounted drinks and snacks in the evening. This concept has since spilled into workplace culture, becoming a laid-back moment for drinks and chats after a long day.

After a full day of brain-buzzing conference sessions, IACMR president-elect, Professor Wei Shen, invites you to unwind at the inaugural IACMR PhD Student Exclusive Happy Hour!

• PhD students who have valid IACMR membership and have registered for 2025 IACMR conference

  Pick ONE renowned professor you wish to meet. Professor Shen will mobilize our IACMR networks to make your dream come true!
• The final list of ten invited professors will be revealed in early June
• You can submit the name of your “dream” professor in the registration form (available at the start and end of this promoter)
