Positions and requirements:

1. Pasaca Chair Professor (Tenured)

Outstanding academic performance and have made high achievements and contributions in talent cultivation or academic research that have been recognized internationally; have high influence and academic status both domestically and internationally, able to lead the discipline field in striving towards or reaching globally leading standards; have outstanding leadership and organizational skills. This position is supported by the Charles Huang Foundation. 

2. Full Professor (Tenured)

Strong academic performance and have made significant achievements and contributions in talent cultivation or academic research that have been recognized both domestically and internationally; have significant influence and academic status both domestically and internationally, able to lead the discipline field in striving towards or reaching globally leading standards; have outstanding leadership and organizational skills.

3. Associate Professor (Tenured)

Relatively strong academic performance, and have made achievements and contributions in talent cultivation or academic research that have been widely recognized both domestically and internationally; have strong influence and academic status at home and abroad, able to maintain the academic standards of discipline field; able to become an independent academic leader in the discipline field. 

4. Assistant Professor (Tenure-track)

Have a broad academic horizon, strong innovative thinking skills and a solid research foundation; able to achieve high-level academic results; have substantial potential for academic development. 

5. Post-doctoral Fellows 

Received a doctoral degree within the last 3 years; has strong research ability, high academic standards, and an international academic vision. 

Compensation, benefits and research funds:

Supported by the Charles Huang Foundation, compensation and research fund are highly competitive and commensurate with qualification and positions. For qualified candidates with tenure-track positions (Assistant Professor and above), the compensation package can be ranging from RMB420,000 (or US$60,000) to RMB1,500,000(or US$220,000) or higher depending on positions and experience, together with other fringe benefits like attractive housing allowance, social insurance, housing accumulation fund, health care, high quality educational resources for children, etc. In addition, large amount of research funds will be provided to encourage and support their initial and successive research activities.
