1.Nankai Business School:
On October 17, 1919, with the spring breeze of the May 4th Movement, Nankai University was officially established. Mr. Zhang Boling, the first president of Nankai University, put forward the school concept of “governing the country by culture, strengthening the country by science, and enriching the country by business”, which blazed a trail in modern business education in China. Professor He Lian and Professor Fang Xianting, two doctors graduated from Yale University, successively took charge of Nankai business department, established the teaching and research goal of improving China’s business, stipulated that business students should choose “China’s issues” as the topic of their thesis, and teachers and students went to Chinese enterprises for investigation and research. After the establishment of Nankai Business School in 1929, with the purpose of “knowing China and serving China”, it trained the earliest batch of business management elites in China, and completed high-level research achievements such as China Cotton Textile Industry Report and Nankai Price Index.
Over the past hundred years, Nankai business scholars has always focused on the academic frontier and major social needs, and responded to vital-real problems with profound theories, and determined to create world-class business school. We have important platforms such as national key disciplines, key research base of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, collaborative innovation center jointly built by the Ministry of Education and Tianjin, key research base of philosophy and social sciences of Tianjin, and Sino French joint research base. We lead the country in management, corporate governance, entrepreneurship management, tourism management and other research fields. In 1998, Nankai Management Review, the first management academic journal sponsored by business schools in colleges and universities, was founded. Now, it has become an important academic brand and ideological front of China’s business administration discipline. In 2007, the discipline of business administration ranked the third in the national discipline evaluation. In 2017, the discipline of business administration was rated A in the fourth round of national discipline evaluation. Significant breakthroughs have been made in the fifth round of national subject evaluation. The discipline talent training system and quality are renowned at home and abroad, and have successively passed AACSB, AMBA, CAMEA, QP and other well-known certifications.

3.Teaching / Research Preferences:
Business Management, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Strategy Management, Entrepreneurial Management, Corporate Governance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Management Science and Engineering (Operation Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, etc）, Information Resource Management（Library Science, Archival Science, Information Science, etc）, Digital Business and related research fields.
(1) High End Talents: Nankai Chair Professor, Nankai Outstanding professor and Nankai Talent Professor, which have recognized academic reputation and academic influence, and have achieved landmark teaching and scientific research achievements.
(2) Full Professor or Associate Professor: having obtained the doctor’s degree and having formal teaching or scientific research positions in well-known universities, scientific research institutions or R & D institutions of famous enterprises at home and abroad.
(3) Assistant Professor: excellent doctor or outgoing postdoctoral at home and abroad, with strong innovation ability and outstanding development potential.
(4) Postdoctoral Fellow: within three years of doctoral graduation, with high academic level and development potential(Please contact your supervisor first).
