Submission Deadline: April 15, 2025

Purpose:
To better promote the mission of the Management and Organization Review (MOR) to become a “premier journal publishing papers that provide ground-breaking insights into management and organization Chinese context and global comparable contexts”, and to better facilitate the development of phenomenon-based indigenous management theories, IACMR and MOR will co-host the third MOR Paper Development Workshop on June 15, 2025 at Xi’an Qujiang International Convention Center, during the IACMR 2025 conference.

Contents
The afternoon workshop will be divided into three parts.

  • First, Professor Xiao-Ping Chen, the Editor-in-Chief of MOR, will introduce the basic information about the MOR Paper Development Workshop (PDW).
  • Second, Professor Ming Jia, the senior editor at MOR and host of this PDW, will present details about this PDW at IACMR, including the submission process and the invited panelists.
  • Finally, senior editors from MOR will provide in-depth discussions on the full papers and detailed research proposals of accepted submissions. They will also offer detailed guidance and feedback to help the authors improve the paper.

We encourage all IACMR members, especially PhD students and young scholars, to submit papers and actively participate in this conference. To ensure that each accepted submission receives detailed feedback and can be further improved, the PDW plans to accept approximately 20 papers and/or detailed research proposals. The papers you submitted to the IACMR conference can also be submitted to this PDW. MOR plans to provide a fast review process for submissions accepted at this conference and publish them promptly once they meet MOR’s publication standards.
