1. 2021 IACMR Xi’an Conference is Resuming

Since we announced the one-year delay of our biennial conference this March, the Executive Committee of IACMR has been closely watching COVID-19 developments around the world. Given the effectiveness of China’s epidemic prevention and control policies, on the other hand the situation internationally is more uncertain, with cases rising in many countries and travel restrictions in place for the foreseeable future, the Executive Committee of IACMR decided that the 2021 Xi’an conference will use a hybrid format. The conference dates are June 16- 20 2021. Please mark your calendar.

2. IACMR Research Seminar Series
The sixth session of IACMR Research Seminar Series was launched on November 25 via Zoom. The speaker was Professor Jing Zhou from Rice University. The topic of his speech was Finding Joy in Research, please click here to watch the video of the speech.

On December 23, the seventh session of IACMR Research Seminar Series was held on line. Professor Wei Shen from Arizona State University presented the speech themed as The Nearness of You: Competitive Rankings, Tired Status Hierarchies, and Strategic Risk-taking, please click here for the video of the speech.

3.IACMR Young Scholar Development Seminars
The fourth session of the seminar series was held on November 26 via Tencent Meeting. Prof. Xin Qin from Sun Yat-sen University presented for this session, the theme of his speech is The Balance between Teaching and Research. 

4. IACMR-RRBM “Responsible Research in Management Award” 2020 Winners Webinar III
We are delighted to honor 2020 “Responsible Research in Management Award” winners through a series of three webinars on Zoom. Scholars are invited to attend and learn from the award-winning authors on how to conduct meaningful and publishable responsible research. 5. IACMR Code of Ethics is Released
IACMR is pleased to announce its new Code of Ethics. The code represents the aspirations of IACMR to encourage fair treatment of colleagues and students, honesty in academic research, and concern for others in society. While IACMR does not have any enforcement powers, we do hope this document will provide members with some guideposts for ethical behavior.
