The Seventh (2024) Teacher Training Workshop for the IACMR “Philosophy of Management Research” Course will be held from December 5 to 9, 2024 in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, submission deadline is June 30, 2024, please click here for the CFA and click here for the Syllabus.

2. Call for Applications|“Phenomenon-based Theorizing in Chinese Management Research” — A Ph.D. Course 
We are excited to announce the launch of this doctoral seminar on conducting Chinese management research, We are excited to announce the launch of this doctoral seminar on conducting Chinese management research, taught by 11 distinguished scholars to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed in conducting ground-breaking, insightful, and meaningful research grounded in the Chinese context, which will also make significant contributions to the broad management literature in general.  This class is free of charge to paying members who have completed their first year of Ph.D. studies. 3. IACMR Teaching & Learning Forum Session 6
Professor Guanglei Zhang from Guanghua school of Management shared his teaching experience on January 18 via zoom, over 200 participants attended the senimar online, Wei Zeng from Hunan University host the seminar.

The sixth session of IACMR Teaching & Learning Forum was held on April 18, 2024 via Zoom, and Prof. Guanglei Zhang from Wuhan University of Technology shared his experience about winning National Teaching and Creative Competition. Ms. Zeng Wei from Hunan University, member of IACMR Teaching Committee hosted the session.

4. IACMR Young Scholar Development Series #19
The 19th IACMR Young Scholars Development Series was held online on March 29, 2024. Prof. Yanjun Guan from University of Nottingham Ningbo China delivered a lecture on the topic of A Boundaryless Career Approach to Person-Environment Fit and Organizational Management, Prof. Fuli Li from Xi’an Jiaotong University, co-chair of IACMR Young Scholars Development Committee, hosted this lecture.

5. IACMR Research Series Seminar Session 46 and 47
On March 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Beijing time, IACMR Research Seminar Series #46 was successfully held, the guest speaker was Dr. Yixuan Li from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, and the topic of this lecture was Leveraging Inclusion Management Practices for Organizational Functioning. Prof. He Wei, co-chair of IACMR Research Committee and Professor of Business School of Nanjing University, hosted the lecture.

IACMR Research Seminar Series #47 was held online via zoom on April 24th. The guest speaker was Professor Aaron D. Hill of the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, and the topic of the lecture was Using Multiverse Analysis to Test and Build Theory: Illustrating with CEO Gender Pay Inequality. Prof. Cuili Qian of the University of Texas at Dallas, co-chair of the IACMR Research Committee, hosted the lecture, please click here to watch the replay.

3. The first MOR International Conference was successfully held at the University of Bath
The first MOR International Conference was successfully held from March 6 to March 7, 2024 at the University of Bath. The conference focused on advancing research in the field of organizations and management, with particular emphasis on the Chinese context and its global importance. We aim to facilitate the exchange of research ideas, provide valuable feedback on research, and explore strategies regarding writing, publishing and collaboration. We understand the importance of these factors to a researcher’s academic career and are committed to providing the necessary support to help researchers face and overcome these challenges. 4. 2nd Round Call for Papers: The Inaugural MOR Paper Development Workshop
To promote the mission of Management and Organization Review (MOR) to become “the premier journal for ground-breaking insights about management and organizations in China and global comparative contexts” and to inspire scholars to develop indigenous theories and explore interesting phenomena and research questions within the Chinese context, IACMR and MOR are jointly organizing the 1st Paper Development Workshop (PDW) on June 15-16, 2024, at the Business School, Hunan University, Changsha, China. Please click here for more information.

6. Call for Best MOR Paper Nominations for Scholarly Impact Award, Practical Impact Award, and Most Influential Paper Award
As you probably know, 2024 is the 20th anniversary of Management and Organization Review (MOR). To celebrate this important milestone, we will give awards to papers published in MOR in the past 20 years in three categories.  A committee in charge of these awards has been formed, with Wendong Li (CUHK) serving as Chair, and Minyuan Zhao (Washington U), Jun Xia (UT Dallas), and Jessie Zhan (Wilfried Laurie U) as committee members.  The committee has met and set up criteria for these awards and is happy to receive nominations from you.
