1.Call for Applications|IACMR 2024 Research Methods Workshop
2024 IACMR Research Methods Workshop will be held from July 8-11, 2024, at School of Management, Shandong University, Jinan, China. The 4-day program will consist of lectures and intensive discussion sessions for developing your research proposals. The workshop’s ultimate goal is to help develop research projects that will address important management problems and be publishable in international (English) academic journals. 2. 2024 IACMR New Officer Election
According to the Constitution and Bylaws of IACMR, the vice-president-elect and representatives-at-large are elected every two years. The elected officers this time will serve for the period of July 2024-June 2027. They will start their service from July 2024, as non-voting members observers on the board, and become voting members in June 2025 at the conclusion of the biennial conference. 2024 March 15 is the deadline for nominations and April 15 the voting opens. 3. IACMR Teaching & Learning Forum Session 5
Professor Yanlong Zhang from Guanghua school of Management shared his teaching experience on January 18 via zoom, over 200 participants attended the senimar online, Wei Zeng from Hunan University host the seminar.
4. IACMR Membership Survey Announcement
As IACMR has reached its 20th-year milestone and plans for a new phase, we are hoping to conduct a membership survey aiming to gather opinions and suggestions from IACMR members to better achieve the objectives of the association and enable collaboration between the IACMR members and leadership.

IACMR Research Seminar Series #44 was held on January 24, professor Kris Byron from Georgia State University, Editor of AMR, delivered a speech on the title of Publishing in Academy of Management Review: What Constitutes a Meaningful Conceptual Contribution, please click here for the recording.
IACMR Research Seminar Series #45 will be held online via zoom on February 28 2024, the speaker is Jiao Luo from University of Minnesota and the language will be in English. Professor Cuili Qian from The University of Texas at Dallas will host this seminar, please click here for registration.

2. Eulogy | In Memory of Gordon Redding
On 17 February 2024, Gordon Redding passed away after a brief but severe illness. He was 86 years old. Gordon was a leading expert on culture and comparative institutional analysis, especially in the context of China and Southeast Asia. He published over a dozen books and 150 articles on these and related subjects, Please click here for the eulogy.
