The 15th IACMR Young Scholar Development Seminar Series was held on November 8, the theme of this session is How to Manage an Academic Career delivered by Professor Yan Anthea Zhang from Rice University, Professor Zhi-Xue Zhang, president of IACMR chaired the webinar. 4. IACMR Research Seminar Series Session #30-31
The topic of the 30th session of IACMR Research Seminar Series was Upper Echelon Theory and CEO Humility Research: Reflections on a Journey of Perseverance and Hope, this session of seminar was held successfully on November 23, the speaker was Professor Amy Ou from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Professor Wu Liu from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University hosted the seminar, please click here for the recording (提取码: hflp).
The 31st session of IACMR Research Seminar Series was held on December 20 and the title was Problem-Solving with Sub-goals: How Primary and Secondary Goals Interact, the speaker was Professor Henrich R. Greve from INSEAD, Professor Eric Zhao hosted this seminar. Please click here for the recording.
5. The Second IACMR Macro Research Frontier Conference
The second IACMR Macro Frontier Research Online Seminar hosted by the Macro team of IACMR Research Committee was successfully held on December 9-10 with about 500 attendees. Professor Victor Nee of Cornell University did the Keynote Speech titled as “Social Mechanisms of Institutional Resilience”. Here is the schedule of the conference.

We have received reports of fraudulent emails sent to IACMR members in the name of the IACMR President in an attempt to commit financial fraud recently. We hereby declare that none of the current or former officers or staff of IACMR will ask members for their credit card information or request for personal information by email, phone or SMS. 2. Special Issue on ‘Family Dynamics and Entrepreneurship: Interaction between Changes in Families and Changes in Entrepreneurial Activities in China’
The purpose of this special issue is to bring the knowledge of the family system to the entrepreneurship field with a focus on the interactions between changing family systems and changing individual, family, and company entrepreneurial endeavors in China and beyond. 3. MOR Special Issue “Heterogeneity among Chinese SOEs” PDW Held Successfully
MOR Special Issue ‘Heterogeneity among Chinese SOEs’ Paper Development Workshop was held on December 9, 2022 in the format of hybrid successfully. This workshop was held offline at the Crowne Plaza Silver Star Hotel in Shanghai and online at the Tencent conference platform. There were three parallel sessions, each with two invited editors to comment on 4-5 papers and guide the authors to improve their papers. Please click here for details of the PDW report in Chinese.

1. Journal of World Business Special Issue Call for Papers: Decoupling in International Business
The JWB perspective paper accompanying this Call for Papers defines decoupling as “the process of weakening economic interdependence between two nations or blocs of nations” and argues that Sino-US decoupling is spurred on by the confluence of three dynamics: politics, economics, and technology.
